Tramo

Tramo (Trabajos molestos) was a lighting editor created in 1957 by the designer Miguel Milá and the architects Francisco Ribas and Eduardo Pérez. In its beginnings, it was focused on the manufacture of limited series produced in an almost artisanal way, managing to project such iconic designs as the Cesta lamp or the Care wall light, both designs by Miguel Milá. 

In 1963, the industrial designer Joan Antoni Blanc began to lead the creation of the product, after the departure of Milá that same year, and successively expanded the catalog of pieces, which began to be recognized with various Delta awards (1965 Delta de Oro Award to the Conica lamp or 1966 Delta de Oro Award for the Semiesferica lamp).

The 1970s brought to Tramo both the incorporation of lamps by international designers such as Joe Colombo and national designers, among which the studio of Ramón Isern and Gemma Bernal, the Grup Bonamusa or Rafael Carreras stood out, making the firm one of the pioneering brands of contemporary design in Spain.
