Norman Foster
Disciple of James Stirling and champion of postmodernism in architecture, Norman Foster (Reddish, 1935) is one of the most prestigious and influential British architects today. He is the creator of the High-Tech architectural current, focused on the idea of solving different architectural problems through the most sophisticated technological means.
With the same constructive concept and innovative materials that he uses in his buildings, Foster has also created iconic furniture designs such as the Nomos table, designed for the Renault offices in 1986 and produced by the Tecno firm. In 1999 he was awarded with the Pritzker Prize, the most prestigious award in the field of architecture.
