Federico Correa & Alfonso Milá
The tandem of Catalan architects Federico Correa and Alfonso Milá, both born in 1924, were one of the most outstanding references of the Modern Movement in the second half of the 20th century.
Correa and Milá followed the idea that interior design and industrial design were part of the same architectural project. Collaborators with José Antonio Coderch, they founded their own studio in 1953. Architecture of summer houses in Cadaqués, institutional and residential buildings, sports stadiums, factories and offices, interior design for the legendary FlashFlash or Il Giardinetto restaurants and unique and iconic design pieces to furnish his own works and for furniture companies such as Gres.
