White Semiesferica Floor Lamp
Joan Antoni Blanc / Tramo - 1966
This lamp belongs to the “Semiesférica” series that the industrial designer Joan Antoni Blanc designed for the Tramo company in the mid-1960s.
Blanc produced numerous designs both with his own business initiatives and with collaborations with the main Spanish publishers, founding Estudi Blanc in 1971.
The floor version stands out for the delicate balance it achieves between its fine base and shaft in white and chrome-lacquered metal and its large white methacrylate lampshade, which is attached to the shaft by means of a clip system that also allows its height to be adjusted. A lamp with a great purity of lines from elemental shapes and materials.
Delta de Oro Award and Critics Award ADI-FAD 1966.
