Doge Table
Carlo Scarpa / Cassina - 1968
The Doge table, edited by Cassina, is part of the Simon Collection and is a work of the iconic designer Carlo Scarpa.
A complex base in brushed steel, made with very thick flat profiles, as if it were architecture, is the essential part of the table, enhanced by the transparency of the top.
We are facing the first piece that was born in 1968 for the Simon collection with the aim of breaking the strict limits of rationalism. It is a sophisticated, elegant design and a great formal and constructive quality.
