Philippe Weisbecker (Dakar, 1942) is a cartoonist and illustrator, with publications in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Time magazine, Le Monde and Vogue Japan, among many others, and has exhibited in galleries around the world. In his works he explores architecture and everyday objects, the beauty of the ordinary. Elements of everyday life that have been reused and reformulated according to the fashions of each time.
