Wassily Chair

Marcel Breuer - 1925

A true classic of modern design. The Wassily or B3 armchair was designed by the Hungarian Marcel Breuer in 1926 when he was an apprentice at the Bauhaus and was the first chair in the world made of steel tube.

Inspired by a bicycle frame, Breuer designed a chair with elemental lines and great visual lightness, thanks to the combination of the steel tube structure with rounded corners and the leather on the seat and armrests.

Dimensions: Total height: 72 cm, seat height: 42 cm, width: 78 cm, depth: 72 cm
Condition: Good vintage condition. Nice patina on the leather and some minor flaws.
