Wassily Armchair in Lacquered Tube and Canvas

A true classic of modern design. The Wassily chair or B3 was designed by Hungarian Marcel Breuer in 1926 when he was an apprentice at the Bauhaus and was the first chair in the world made of steel tubing.

Inspired by the frame of a bicycle, Breuer designed a piece with simple lines and great visual lightness, thanks to the combination of the steel tube structure with rounded corners and the canvas of the seat and armrests.
