NY Folding Chair
Takeshi Nii - 1958
NY model armchair designed in 1958 by the prestigious Japanese designer Takeshi Nii.
It is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York and is one of the icons of modern design. It is inspired by the folding director's chair and the Scandinavian mid-century aesthetic.
Despite its lightness, it is a very comfortable chair. Aluminum structure painted in black, seat and cushion in canvas and armrests in lacquered wood.
A design with a marked modern and timeless character.
