Oak and Leather Hunting Chair

Hunting chair designed by the Danish Kurt Østervig and produced by the firm K. P. Jørgensens Møbelfabrik in the sixties.

Solid oak structure and seat and backrest in brown leather held together by a system of straps and buckles. A robust and imposing piece of great comfort, which resembles the mythical Spanish chair by Børge Mogensen designed at the same time.

Østervig is considered one of the classics of Scandinavian design, exceptionally versatile and recognized with awards such as the Milan Triennale in 1953 and 1960 and pieces exhibited at the MoMA in New York.
