Pine and Rush Popular Style Chair
C. 1960
A classic of popular furniture from the sixties and seventies. Handcrafted, the structure of these chairs is made of natural solid pine wood and the seat and backrest are made of braided reed.
The design is similar to Charlotte Perriand's reinterpretation of the traditional French chair in the “Bauche n. 19” and “Dordogne”.
The formal and material austerity provides a warm counterpoint to modern interiors.
Dimensions: Total Height: 80 cm, Seat Height: 45 cm Width: 45 cm, Depth: 41 cm |
