Pair of Tubular Chairs mod. 61

Joaquim Belsa Aldea / Lamper - 1970

The model 61 chair designed by Joaquim Belsa in 1969 and produced by the Lamper publishing house is a clear example of the way of working that characterized Belsa during the 1960s and 1970s, based on the idea of a single line.

This model is part of the set of tubular furniture that emerged from the collaboration between Belsa and Lamper, marked by its organic shapes and the use of bright colors and a very “pop” aesthetic.

Tubular structure entirely in red lacquered steel and seat upholstered in ecru fabric with a central detail in red to match the structure.

ADI-FAD Silver Delta Award 1970.
