Pair of Black Dining Chairs in Wicker
C. 1960
A classic of popular furniture from the sixties and seventies. Handmade, the structure of these chairs is made of solid ebonized pine wood and the seat and backrest of woven rush.
Its design resembles the reinterpretation Charlotte Perriand made of the traditional French chair in the “Bauche n. 19” and “Dordogne” models.
Its formal and material austerity provides a warm counterpoint to modern interiors.
