Pair of Carimate Armchairs

Vico Magistretti - 1959

The Carimate chair is undoubtedly an icon of modern industrial design and Italian Bel Design.

Designed in 1959 by Vico Magistretti for the golf club of the same name located in Lombardy.

Due to its open frame the Carimate chair has a strong identity. The two curved armrests that rest on it give it a more dynamic character.

Structure entirely in red lacquered beech wood and seat in bulrush.

Dimensions: Total height: 75 cm, seat height: 44 cm, width: 58 cm, depth: 47 cm
Condition: Good general condition, some signs of use on the structure and the cattail seat. Nice patina on the whole.
