Octagonal Oak Coffee Table
Jordi Casablancas - C. 1970
Coffee table designed by Jordi Casablancas and produced by his own firm Muebles Casablancas in the seventies.
The table is made of varnished oak wood, with an octagonal top and cross-shaped legs.
It represents a clear example of the style Casablancas developed during the sixties and seventies: use of wood, straight lines, and popular character, marking an era in Catalan interior design.
Besides furniture, Casablancas also designed some interiors and participated in the dissemination and teaching of Design as a professor at various universities and as a member of the FAD.
