Folding Side Table
C. 1960
Folding side table made from an ingenious system of two wooden triangles that together form a square top and an iron structure painted in black in the shape of a cross.
It is part of the set of furniture used in the interior design of the former Headquarters of the Editorial Gustavo Gili, the work of the architects Joaquim Gili and Francesc Bassó and a representative building of Catalan rationalism of the fifties and sixties.
A versatile and elegant piece with a great personality and a modern character emphasized by its straight and delicate lines. Of rationalist inspiration and with a beautiful patina in all its materials.
