Moragas Table Lamp
Antoni de Moragas i Gallissà / Santa&Cole - 1957
Originally designed in 1957 for the new building of the Barcelona College of Architects, a project for which Moragas won a FAD award, the Moragas table lamp is one of the great classics of Spanish design.
The design is based on a simple concept: a heavy cylindrical solid cedar wood foot that avoids widening the base without compromising stability and a large circular shade of white cotton ribbon that projects a warm ambient light.
This issue is one of the first reissues made by Santa&Cole.
