Frankfurt Table Lamp

Ramon Bigas & Pep Sant / B.LUX - 1985

Spectacular ambient lamp designed by Ramon Bigas and Pep Sant in 1985 and produced by B.LUX.

An interesting design exercise inspired by the mechanism of a gyroscope. A large lentil, with one luminescent side and the other opaque, which can be oriented at will from a rotating structure.

Ramon Bigas and Pep Sant embody the multidisciplinary professional who, starting from radical positions, gradually enters the world of commercial design, thus placing himself between utopia and reality.

In 1981 they created the ADAssociate Designers studio. Among his industrial design projects we can highlight the Spanish high-speed train or the torch for the Barcelona '92 Olympic Games.

Dimensions: Height: 70 cm, width: 63 cm, maximum depth: 55 cm
Condition: Good state of conservation. Nice patina on the steel structure and the front face of the lampshade. Slight crack on the screen.
