It consists of a circular metal base, a chromed steel stem, and an adjustable black lacquered aluminum shade with an upper slot for light diffusion.
Piece awarded the International Design Award in 1968 and an icon of Italian industrial design for its functionality and innovative use of the adjustable mechanism.
