Arc Table Lamp

Gabriel Teixidó & Carlos Serra / Carpyen - C. 1970

Halogen table lamp designed in the late seventies by Gabriel Teixidó and Carlos Serra for Carpyen.

A large chrome-plated steel arch joins the circular black iron base with a black-lacquered micro-perforated sheet metal lampshade that integrates an aluminum reflector. A simple screw mechanism in black plastic allows the height and direction of the dim light to be articulated.

This design proposes a lamp concept in which an impression of lightness contrasts with a sculptural presence.
