Double Spotlight Floor Lamp

J. M. Magem / Madom - C. 1970

Floor lamp designed by Josep Maria Magem and produced by Madom in the seventies.

Two large semicircular addressable and height-adjustable spotlights run along a long black-lacquered metal shaft. Round base lacquered in black, spiral-shaped cable and switch located on the back of the lampshade. The spotlights are made up of a matte olive green hood and a black ring, between which a slot is created that creates a halo of light. The pieces attached to the shaft are also lacquered in matt olive green and black.

Magem was co-founder and reference designer of the Madom publishing house, which, unlike most production companies of the time, opted for a production strictly in metal and for a palette of saturated colors in medium tones.
