Set of Eight Kentucky Dining Chairs
Carlo Scarpa / Bernini - c. 1970
Set of 8 chairs model Kentucky designed by Carlo Scarpa in the 1970s, produced by Bernini. The walnut wood structure is made up of tubular uprights and crossbars with handcrafted finishing. They feature high and elegant backs upholstered in black leather. Carlo Scarpa designed this chair for the "Scuderia" series, the last project he completed for Bernini. He was inspired by the "Shaker" movement, drawing the chair slightly inclined at the front. This feature allows it to rock back, resting against a wall, and maintain balance.
