Trumpet Table Lamp

Franco Albini / Sirrah - C. 1960

Table lamp designed by the iconic Italian designer Franco Albini in the late sixties together with his colleagues Helg and Piva.

It is part of the AM/AS lighting series that the design team designed for the Sirrah company, made of high-gloss chromed metal as a whole.

It is made from a heavy circular base that supports a cylindrical arm attached to a concentric trumpet-shaped screen, hence its name. A series of circular slots provide a nice lighting detail that adds warmth to the piece.

Franco Albini collaborated with several of the most prestigious manufacturers such as Arteluce, Knoll, Arflex and Cassina and is known for designing the famous "Gala" and "Margherita" rattan chairs.
