Xemeneia or A/14 Fireplace
Miguel Milá / Polinax - 1976
The Xemeneia or A/14 model fireplace is a very representative design of Miguel Milá's work and a reference in the modernization of this architectural element since it appeared in 1976.
In his design, Milá resorts to a simple geometry and the use of a traditional material, iron, and traditional techniques, welding and casting, to achieve not only new functional features but also a modern and refined aesthetic.
This original model edited by Gres is made of metal plate painted with heat-resistant paint, micro-perforated metal plate door and ceramic opening and pull handles.
Delta de Oro FAD 1977 Award.
