Oak and White Formica Chest of Drawers

Jordi Casablancas - C. 1970

Chest of Drawers designed by Jordi Casablancas and produced by his own firm Muebles Casablancas in the seventies.

Made of oak wood and white formica, with a rationalist design and beautiful details on the handles.

It represents a clear example of the style that Casablancas developed during the sixties and seventies: use of wood, straight lines, and popular character, marking an era in Catalan interior design.

In addition to furniture, Casablancas also designed some interiors and participated in the dissemination and teaching of Design as a professor at various universities and as a member of the FAD.
