Thonet bench, a prominent example of Viennese Art Nouveau. Michael Thonet invented his own technique that allowed wood to be bent in a unique way, giving it great plasticity and lightness, as can be seen in this pierced backrest, along with the armrests shaped like volutes and the slight curve of the legs.
