Metal Rotating Cabinet
Contablex - c. 1960
Filing cabinet produced in the 1960s by the Spanish manufacturer Contablex.
Made of metal sheet on the outside and lacquered green iron on the inside. Futuristic in style while also reminiscent of some classic designs characteristic of projects by Le Corbusier or Jean Prouvé. It features various rotating trays inside originally conceived as filing cabinets but with multiple possibilities, such as functioning as a bar cabinet.
