Caspolino Rug
Peret / AB2 Alfombras - 1988
The Caspolino is one of the two rugs that Peret designed for the unique collection of signature rugs from the publisher AB2, created and directed by Pep Feliu at the end of the 1980s. The same collection included the participation of prominent architects, designers and artists such as Juli Capella, Joaquín Berao, Adolfo Domínguez, Alessandro Mendini, Eduard Samsó and Rocky Semprini, among others.
Peret is a graphic designer, illustrator, sculptor and photographer and has carried out commissions for numerous important companies and institutions (La Vanguardia, Barcelona City Council, New York Times...), designing corporate identities and advertising illustrations and even rugs and crockery, always with a its own style in which it integrates icons of popular culture and mixes geometric and organic shapes.
