Thonet style chair model 209 made in Czechoslovakia.
A classic and elegant design, which stands out for the shapes and work of the curved wood, which provides an organic appearance. The protruding frame that forms both the backrest and the armrest is made from a single piece of solid beech wood. Circular mesh seat.
One of the favorite pieces of the Swiss architect Le Corbusier, who said of it that it was a noble chair and that he used in many of his buildings, for example, in the Weissenhof Estate in Stuttgart in 1927.
