Walnut Dining Table

Rectangular dining table designed and produced in the seventies by the Catalan designer Jordi Vilanova.

It is a solid and sturdy table, inspired by medieval furniture, to which Vilanova adds a avant-garde twist. It consists of a rectangular tabletop resting on a base supported by rectangular-section supports with the base set in a metal casing. The sides of the tabletop feature pyramidal protrusions.

It is a unique example of the furniture series by Jordi Vilanova that were very well received among the Catalan petite bourgeoisie in the sixties and seventies.
