Arquímedes Clamp Lamp
Gemma Bernal & Ramón Isern / Tramo - 1974
In 1974, Barcelona designers Gemma Bernal and Ramón Isern designed this innovative lamp system published by Tramo.
In this clamp version, a conical-square shaped lampshade of black lacquered aluminum is joined to the fastening system through an adjustable tilt arm made of beech wood, very stylish at the time. A wooden piece anchored to the top of the bulb holder next to the switch allows the lampshade to be oriented in countless positions. An articulation system that gives this design great flexibility.
Its sophisticated simplicity and the warmth of its materials make the Archimedes lamp an excellent design.
