Bench of Wood mod. 214
Joaquim Belsa Aldea / Aresta - 1961
Throughout his career, the Catalan industrial designer Joaquim Belsa Aldea (1929-2018) had an interest in the design and production of simple and austere furniture designed for a wide audience. In his designs he used traditional and durable materials, such as natural wood, manila cane, cattail or textiles.
The iconic model 214 bench in wood and wicker has a popular-inspired design and a sophisticated and contemporary result. An example of the good work of Joaquim Belsa, a pioneer in design and author of pieces with great sensitivity and formal austerity.
