Pair of Confortable Lounge Chairs
Jordi Vilanova i Bosch - C. 1970
Pair of modular armchairs designed and produced in the sixties by Jordi Vilanova.
Natural pine wood structure, skate-shaped legs and seat and backrest made with burlap straps on which two cushions upholstered in white canvas rest. Nice details seen in the joints of the different wooden elements.
Simple and comfortable, they can be arranged as a small sofa or as individual armchairs.

The modernity of Vilanova's designs lies not only in the shapes and materials, some of which are still very current, but also in the desire to adapt spaces to the rapid changes of contemporary life, thus participating in different spheres of society, which meant the creation of series of furniture with markedly different aesthetics.
