Set of Four Upholstered Pedralbes Dining Chairs
Jordi Vilanova i Bosch - 1961
Chair designed and produced in 1967 by the Catalan designer Jordi Vilanova.
Beech wood structure stained and seat and backrest upholstered in fabric. It is characterized by its lateral edges in the shape of a triangular prism that run along the entire structure. The legs are arranged in a sled shape and connected by a wooden slat, creating a cubic appearance.
The Pedralbes chair is a unique example of the furniture series by Jordi Vilanova that were very well received among the Catalan petite bourgeoisie in the sixties and seventies.
