Iron and Linen Floor Lamp

Floor lamp designed by Estudio Técnico Darro and produced by the Darro firm in 1960.

This piece clearly synthesizes the principles of mid-20th century Spanish modern design: sobriety, functionality, and structural elegance. Its composition is built around a very slender metal shaft, rising from a base with three open supports. The cylindrical linen shade, with balanced proportions, softens the rigid geometry of the metal support, creating a contrast between industrial and handcrafted elements. A visually light piece with a sculptural character.
