Pine Folding Table
Joaquim Belsa Aldea / Aresta - C. 1960
Folding dining table designed by Joaquim Belsa Aldea in the sixties and produced by his own firm, Aresta.
An emblematic table with an original and ingenious design. With simple lines and a light appearance, with a marked character of popular inspiration. An example of the search for the aesthetic quality of industrially produced pieces.
It is made of varnished pine wood and is made up of an original system of three wooden planks at the top, one fixed and two collapsible. And a structure of legs that gives the table a particular identity.
Throughout her career, Belsa had an interest in the design and production of simple and austere furniture conceived for a wide audience, using traditional and durable materials in her designs.
