Auxiliar Chest of Drawers
C. 1960
Auxiliary piece produced in the late fifties consisting of three drawers and a tray, belonging to the set of office furniture used in the interior design of the former Gustavo Gili Publishing House, the work of the architects Joaquim Gili and Francesc Bassó and a representative building of Catalan rationalism from the fifties and sixties.
The structure is made of black painted steel tube and the whole piece is finished in embero wood veneer.
A functional, versatile and elegant piece, with a modern character emphasized by its straight and sober lines and its combination of materials.
