Popular Dining Chair in Dark Wood and Rush
C. 1960
A classic of popular furniture from the sixties and seventies. Handmade, the frame of these chairs is made of solid wood and the seat and backrest of woven rush.
Its design resembles the reinterpretation Charlotte Perriand made of the traditional French chair in the “Bauche n. 19” and “Dordogne” models.
Its formal and material austerity provides a warm counterpoint to modern interiors.
