Standing Ashtray

Standing ashtray designed by Cristina Balet in the late sixties, produced by Polinax and distributed by Gres.
The foot is articulated from a circular base and a thin chromed steel shaft and the ashtray, independent, from a black melamine cylinder and a steel plate made up of two wings that acts as a lid.
With sober lines and a minimal design free of ornaments, Balet designed it with the help of Miguel Milá during his time as a student at Elisava.
