Sideboard

C. 1960

Tall cabinet divided in its front by five side drawers and two shelves, belonging to the set of furniture used in the interior design of the former Headquarters of the Editorial Gustavo Gili, the work of the architects Joaquim Gili and Francesc Bassó and a representative building of Catalan rationalism of the fifties and sixties.

The base on which it stands is made entirely of black painted steel tube and the whole piece is finished in embero wood.

A functional and elegant piece with a modern character emphasized by its straight and sober lines and its combination of materials.
